1. Who we are
Memiqo is provided by SOFTAM S.R.L., a Romanian limited-liability company (societate cu răspundere limitată), with its registered office at Str. Vlad Dracul nr. 9, bl. C9, sc. 1, et. 7, ap. 30, Sector 3, 031193 București, Romania (trade register number J2025005627003, CUI 51429075, VAT number RO51429075). In these terms, "we" and "us" mean SOFTAM S.R.L., and the terms are an agreement between you and us. The Legal notice lists all company details.
2. Who can use Memiqo
You need a Google account and to be at least 16, or the age at which you can agree to online terms where you live. If you use Memiqo for a school or university that pays for it, that organisation may have its own rules that apply as well.
3. Your account
Sign in is with Google only. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your Google account secure. One person, one account. Do not create extra accounts to get around Free plan limits.
4. Your material
You keep all rights to the files you upload. You give Memiqo permission to store them, extract their text and write questions, flashcards and notes from them for you. Only upload material you are allowed to use for personal study. If a copyright owner tells us you should not have uploaded something, we may remove it.
5. Questions and notes we write
The questions, explanations, summaries and glossaries are written by AI from your material. We quote the source line so you can check. They can still be wrong or incomplete, so treat them as practice, not as a replacement for your course. Memiqo is not responsible for exam results.
6. Free plan
The Free plan currently includes:
- 3 packs
- 3 files per pack
- 40 pages per file
- 40 pages per month
- 1 extra layer of questions per pack
- 10 flashcards of your own per pack
- All modes, exams, flashcards and notes
Free plan limits may change over time. If they do, we will say so in the app and on the pricing page, and existing packs stay accessible.
7. Pro plan and billing
Pro is a subscription billed through Stripe, either monthly (€9.99/mo) or yearly (€79.99/yr). Prices include VAT where applicable and may change; we will give you at least 30 days notice before a change affects your next renewal. Pro currently includes:
- Unlimited packs
- 10 files per pack
- 400 pages per file
- 400 pages per month
- 3 extra layers of questions per pack
- Unlimited flashcards of your own
- All modes, exams, flashcards and notes
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
8. Cancelling and refunds
Cancel anytime from Manage billing in Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for, and you keep Pro until then. We do not refund partial periods, except where the law requires it. If you are an EU consumer, you have a 14 day right of withdrawal from the first purchase unless you have already started using Pro features.
9. Fair use
Page limits exist so the service stays fast and affordable for everyone. Do not use automated tools to upload files, scrape questions, resell access or overload the service. Do not upload illegal content or material that belongs to someone else without permission. We may pause or close accounts that break these rules.
10. Deleting your account
You can delete your account from Settings. You type DELETE to confirm, and if you have not signed in recently, the app asks you to sign in with Google again first. Your packs and progress are removed and any Pro subscription is cancelled immediately. See the Privacy page for details on what happens to your data.
11. Availability and liability
We work hard to keep Memiqo up, but we cannot promise it will never be down or that every file will process perfectly. Memiqo is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Romania. Disputes are decided by the competent courts of București (Bucharest), Romania, where SOFTAM S.R.L. has its registered office. If you are a consumer living in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may also bring a claim before the courts of that country.
